GREEN VERDE MARINA
Verde Marina Granite is a fine-grained, white-grey-green gneiss of the Precambrian period with white-grey bands and waves. This stone internationally may be considered granite, but in the area of application of the European Standard it is considered a gneiss. The veining and color varies considerably and a small sample of Verde Marina granite may not be representative of the whole slab; therefore, swatch samples must be approved for large projects to ensure that the blocks are all extracted from the same quarry face for matching purposes.
