Verde Savana granite is a medium- to coarse-grained, olive-green and grey gneiss of the Precambrian period. This stone internationally may be considered granite, but in the area of application of the European Standard it is known as gneiss. The veining and color varies considerably and a small sample of Verde Savana granite may not be representative of the whole slab; therefore, swatch samples must be approved for large projects.
